Our app bridges your Android device and your own infrastructure—whether that's your web server, API, or cloud platform. We're the messenger, not the message keeper. Here's everything you need to know about how we handle your data.

How Long We Keep Your Data
On Your Device
SMS messages are stored in Android's native SMS database. You have complete control—delete them anytime through your phone's messaging app.
On Our Servers
We keep SMS metadata (not content) for 30 days to provide message history. Request deletion anytime—we'll process it immediately.
Active Accounts
Device info and API keys are retained while your device is registered. When you deactivate, we delete everything within 90 days.
Analytics & Logs
Crash reports: 90 days. Analytics: aggregated and anonymized indefinitely. Security logs: 30 days.
How We Protect Your Data

End-to-End Encryption
All data in transit uses HTTPS/TLS. Data at rest is encrypted with industry-standard algorithms.
API Authentication
Every request requires your unique API key. Devices must be registered via secure QR code or manual entry.
Access Monitoring
All access to sensitive data is logged and monitored. Only authorized personnel can access production systems.
Transparency note: While we implement bank-level security measures, no electronic system is 100% impenetrable. We constantly update our security practices and will notify you immediately if any breach occurs.
Your Privacy Rights
Your data, your rules. Here's what you can do:
Access Your Data
Request a complete copy of all data we have about you. We'll deliver it in a readable format within 30 days.
Delete Everything
Deactivate your device in the app, or email us. We'll wipe your data within 30 days.
Export Your Data
Download your message history and settings in portable formats (JSON, CSV).
Revoke Permissions
Disable SMS permissions anytime in Android settings. The app will stop accessing your messages immediately.
GDPR & CCPA Compliance
If you're in the EU or California, you have additional rights including data portability, the right to be forgotten, and the right to object to processing.
We never sell your personal information. Period.
Age Restrictions
PayTrix Relay is not intended for children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe we've accidentally collected a child's information, contact us immediately at support@thepaytrix.comand we'll delete it right away.
Third-Party Services
Firebase (Google Cloud)
We use Firebase for push notifications and crash analytics. Firebase is a trusted Google product with robust privacy protections.
